Ultrafast Dynamics of Iodomethane

This project investigates excitation, ionization, and dissociation in iodomethane (CH3I) using two-color femtosecond pump-probe spectroscopy. Coincident fragment measurements are used to distinguish intensity-dependent dynamics, including vibrational excitation, predissociation, and dissociative-ionization pathways.

Ultraviolet Photodynamics of 1,2-Dichloroethylene

This collaborative project examines the photoinduced dynamics of the cis and trans isomers of 1,2-dichloroethylene using time-resolved Coulomb explosion imaging. Fragment momenta, ion yields, and kinetic-energy distributions are used to investigate isomerization and competing molecular dissociation pathways.

Coherent Vibrational Dynamics in Trifluoroiodomethane

This collaborative project investigates coherent vibrational motion in trifluoroiodomethane (CF3I) using time-resolved Coulomb explosion imaging. Time-dependent fragment-momentum correlations provide structural information about laser-induced nuclear dynamics.
